FORTUNE alias LUCK

"Successful call it hard work, timing , attitude, modesty,patience, perseverance and passion!

Failures call it 'Luck'!"  - Darpan Vasudev

Struck by the bone chilling gale of winter,

He removed the blood stained green clothes off the dead man

In his effort to brave the winter frost;

He draped himself with the greens

Only to recieve a bullet in his heart

Leaving him stone cold…

She picked up the crown from the dirt.

Hoping it would save her head.

No sooner she had it on,

They broke her crown for the crown-

Which fell again in the dirt,

Leaving her cold dead...

They stepped into the ruins

Intending to transform it into their homestead

 They appeared as ghosts to the onlookers instead,

and reinforced their onlookers’ belief in the heresy;

Who took their life to exorcise the entry of evil souls

 and maintained the “haunted ruin’s“ sanctity…

It was looking for food

So the smell of the cadaver

overpowered its instinct foreboding danger.

Before it could mouth a morsel

 A heavy club bludgeoned out its last breath…

We consider birth and death

 As mere transformation of the soul

  through a passage called:

 "Journey of ‘Life’."

  Ignoring the inherent truth-

The Natural Law of Karma:

That we often argue as 'Cause and Effect';

And straight jacket ourselves instead

Yet we Ignore this inherent truth-

 To mindlessly believe in:

“Good-Evil, Sins and Judgement”-

And invariably transform ourselves

  ...Into living dead ...

Awaiting the day of judgement:

The syndrome of Apocalypse…

Failures call it 'Luck'!"  - Darpan Vasudev

The fallacy in Mr. Darpan Vasudev's statement is evident in the poetry.
